Diving deeper into the profound underwater motifs, the Cult of Spakling continues its netherworld explorations in technology and mythological themes with these two electro tracks.

- The title track, "VQL", sport robotic, repetitive vocoder vocals, rhythmic layers and strong synthesiser chords with some zaps.
- The second track "Abyssal Scan" slows the pace slightly, creating an underwater soundscape with echoing arpeggios adding in some disco elements.
